Seniors Tristan Bragg, Chase Crenwelge and Josh Rogers will all graduate this year and attend college, where each will play Soccer.  They will all three sign their National Letter of Intent on Thursday, April 24th at 2:15pm in the Salado High School Gymnasium.
 

Tristan Bragg (Hardin-Simmons University), is a 3 year varsity letterman and starter for the boys soccer team.  As a sophomore Tristan was 1st team All District and Academic All District.  As a Junior Tristan was 1st team All District, Team Offensive MVP, and Academic All District.  His Senior year Tristan was 1st Team All District and Academic All State (TASCO).  Tristan has recorded 38 goals and 12 assists in his 3 years on varsity.  Tristan will graduate holding the school records in career goals (38), season goals (22), single season district goals (14), and goals in a single game (4).

Chase Crenwelge (Hardin-Simmons University), is a three year varsity letterman and starter for the boys soccer team. As a sophomore Chase was District 34-4A Newcomer of the Year, 1st team All District, Killeen Daily Herald 1st Team All Area, Team MVP, and Academic All District.  As a Junior Chase was District 34-4A Midfield MVP, 1st team All District, Killeen Daily Herald 1st Team All Area, and Academic All District.  His Senior year Chase  was 1st Team All District and Academic All State (TASCO). Chase has recorded 25 goals and 22 assists in his 3 years on varsity.  Chase will graduate holding school records in career assists (22), single season district assists (7), and assists in a single game (3).  
 

Josh Rogers (University of Mary Hardin-Baylor), is a three year varsity letterman and starter for the boys soccer team.  As a sophomore Josh was District 34-4A  Defensive MVP, 1st team All District, Killeen Daily Herald 1st Team All Area, and Team Defensive MVP.  As a Junior Josh was District 34-4A Overall MVP, 1st team All District, Killeen Daily Herald 1st Team All Area, and Team MVP. His Senior year Josh was 1st Team All District and District 34-4A Defensive MVP.  Josh has recorded 7 goals and 14 assists in his 3 years on varsity.  Josh will graduate holding the school record in single season assists (10), most playoff assists (2), and helped anchor defense that recorded a school record 13 shutouts this season.

The Eagle Golf Team advances to STATE!!!

The Eagle Golf Team won the Regional tournament held at The Legends Country Club in Stephenville with a 61 stroke lead over second place, Brock.  The two-day team score totaled 658.  Also advancing to state are 2nd place team Brock, 719 and 3rd place team Paradise, 723 (winning in a team playoff against Whitesboro).

*NOTE:  UIL changed the date for the boys & girls state golf tournament due to a conflict with the state UIL academic meet.  Please be advised that both boys and girls will compete for a state championship on Wednesday, April 30th & Thursday, May 1st.  Click here for information regarding the details of the state tournament.

The Salado Lady Eagles Golf Team won the Regional championship by 12 shots and will be heading to STATE on April 30th & May 1st!  The state tournament will be held at Roy Kizer Golf Course in Austin.
 
The following girls placed individually:

Sarah Colley - 3rd place
Rachel Ray - 6th place
Molly Rodeffer & Kristin Crouch tied for 8th place
Kate Goldsmith tied for 10th place
